Big News

We're expecting a Baby!!! Currently my due date is May 28, but I sure that will change. Alyssa was almost two weeks late, so who knows. Anyways, just wanted to share with you guys. I am very excited and feeling wonderful! (AMEN!!! NO MORNING SICKNESS!!!)

In other news I have been very busy with several craft projects. Including Christmas presents, a Thanksgiving table runner, and Teddie bears, (they are really cute.) But I haven't had the time to post the pictures. Bennett will be gone this next week, so hopefully I will post them then. Take care!!!

Baby Blanket

So this is the blanket that I made for Nicole's baby shower. It turned out really well, and I think that she was pleased. I am thinking of making some up and selling them. It didn't take me long to make, just a couple of days.

Wow, so busy!

Okay this one is from one called Crazy for Christ

This one I am in, called Guy With the Cardboard Christ

Yes, that's me standing up with the wig on... This one is Called The Wrap Group

It was about a meeting of the local Bubble Wrap Poppers Anonymous meeting.

And this is Kory, one of our youth workers....he helped us get the wig ready:)

So things have been crazy the last month. I was in charge of this drama thing some our youth where doing. (I work with the youth group at church) We also had a "God's Guide to love sex and dating" seminar that I was teaching at. So lots to get ready for, in addition to my normal stuff. Here are some pictures of us at the Drama Comedy Night. Our group is raising money for 30 hour famine, Which is a program where the kids go without food for 30 hours, taking pledges to then give to World Vision to help hungry people all over the world. At the end we do a service project. They are doing a great job, and I am very proud of them. Anyways, here are the pictures....Enjoy!

Still haven't heard from Bennett

Okay, I think I am going nuts. I feel like we didn't get to talk to each other enough, and now, I haven't gotten to talk to him again. It was great while he was in port, but I thought I would get some time before him not getting to talk again... :(

Amish Sugar Cookies

I got the following recipe from my mom. They are so good. Not exactly figure friendly, but definitely worth eat just one. Enjoy!!!

P.S. Chocolate really adds something... :)

Amish Sugar Cookies

Amish Sugar Cookies

1 Cup Sugar

1 Cup Confectioners Sugar

1 Cup Butter, Soften

1 Cup Vegetable Oil

2 Eggs

1 teaspoon Vanilla

4 1/2 Cups All purpose Flour

1 teaspoon Baking Soda

1 teaspoon Cream of Tarter

Mix Sugars, butter, and oil, until well blended. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix until smooth. Combine flour, baking soda, and cream of tarter, and add to sugar mixture. Drop by spoonfuls on to cookie sheet. (no need to grease...so much fat :) Cook in a preheated oven at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove to a wire rack to cool. Eat as is or dip or drizzle chocolate over them.

Focaccia Bread---YUMMY!

So I made Focaccia bread yesterday. Well, actually it took me two days, cause you have to let the sponge as they call it ferment overnight, and then it bakes the next day. It turned out really well. It smelled so yummy, that I had already eaten some before I remembered to take an after picture, so imagine that it is whole. You can put all kinds of things on the top. This time I just put some herbs. Next time I want to try onions and cheese.
